Meet Our Team

Bill began his HVAC career in the mid-1980s working with a contractor in the coastal regions of Delmarva, initially as a service technician and subsequently advancing to operations manager. After several years in this role, he began a seven-year period with National HVAC Service as operations manager. Bill then moved into sales in the building automation segment of the industry with a controls manufacturer in California where he spent 19 years. During this time, he rose from regional sales manager to Vice President of Sales. In 2019, Bill was contacted regarding the role of General Manager of National HVAC Service and now has returned to his roots in the contractor segment of the industry. Currently Bill works with a team of professionals at National to provide quality HVAC and trade services to the Delmarva region.

Gary, as with many trades’ professionals in the area, started his career at Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning in Bridgeville, DE. Gary began his career in 1983 as a helper.  That same year he started taking classes at Wor-Wic community college, and soon decided to go to Sussex Technical School and then on to Delaware Technical Community College rounding out his formal training in the industry. With his extensive tenure and experience in the trade, Gary has seen a lot of changes from his first days at Comfort, and now at National HVAC Service, where he is the commercial service manager. Gary says of his career path, “it has given me the opportunity to see and work on just about everything in our field, unique applications such as cascade refrigeration systems, centrifugal chillers, oil and gas boilers, controls and commercial refrigeration systems.”  Gary enjoys the challenges presented by high end technical systems and takes great pride in his abilities to maintain and repair the more complex systems in the industry.

Lisa joined National HVAC in March 2000.  Her previous position of Vice President of a local bank brought her to us with 15 years of banking and accounting experience.  She began her career with National HVAC Service as a clerk in the Business Systems Department and has worked her way up to her current position of Regional Business Systems Manager overseeing the accounting functions of 4 of National’s branch offices including Seaford and Wilmington, DE; Wilkes-Barre, PA and Memphis, TN. Lisa takes great pride in not only being an integral part of the Seaford business systems operations but also her invaluable contributions to the National HVAC presence across the country.

Clay, National HVAC Service's, Plumbing Division Manager, has over 30 years  experience in the residential and commercial plumbing industry. He is an Eastern shore native originally from Milford, DE. Clay holds a master plumbing license for both Delaware and Maryland. He takes great pride in doing and overseeing quality plumbing work. Clay is focussed on continuing the excellent commercial and residential plumbing services that National has provided for years.

Toni started with National HVAC Service in November of 2004 as a temporary office assistant. Her focused attention to detail resulted in a permanent position for Toni as a business Clerk in 2005. She continued in that role doing daily clerical task, filing, data entry payables and receivables. Her continued efficiencies lead to a promotion in 2006 to Regional Business Systems Specialist. Toni not only contributes to the pertinent business systems functions of the Seaford location, but also contributes to these same needs across the national footprint of the various National HVAC locations.

Paula has been in the HVAC industry since 2004.  She joined National HVAC Service in January 2021 through an acquisition with Coldmaster Refrigeration Service.  Her willingness to learn and outstanding customer service skills made for a smooth transition into her current position as a Business Office Manager.  Her current duties include customer service, accounts payables, accounts receivables, filing and data entry.

Richard joined the National HVAC team in 2010 as purchasing agent. Richard came to National with considerable experience in material purchasing and inventory management which he had attained while working in another industry. With his knowledge and skills, Richard supports the residential and commercial divisions, both in projects and for service, in procuring materials, coordinating delivery, and staging project materials as needed to successfully complete the jobs as scheduled and on time. Richard takes great pride in and enjoys being part of a team dedicated to providing their customers with the best customer service in the industry.

Pete joined the National HVAC Service family in April of 2020 as the residential operations planner. He brings with him 16 years of hospitality and customer service experience through managing restaurants and hotels. Before joining our team Pete also had dispatching knowhow. This valued experience along with Pete’s zeal for customer service is a key contributor in delivering the best overall customer experience to National HVAC customers. Pete takes pride in giving each and every customer the best possible service each and every day. With Pete's dedication to his work and attentiaon  to detail, he is now the Commercial Service Dispatcher and also helps manage the commercial maintanance agreements to ensure delivey of quality sevices to the entire commercial service customer base.

Grant joined the National HVAC team in 2012 as a commercial and residential installation technician. In 2016 Grant completed the four-year HVAC journeyman program at Sussex Technical School and now possesses his HVAC journeyman’s papers, he also has a universal EPA certification. In 2015 Grant moved to the role of a residential service technician. In 2020 Grant advanced to the position of commercial installation lead, where he displayed a strong knowledge in commercial projects with a key focus on quality and safety. Because of those traits, Grant moved into the Field installation Foreman's role and then transiitoned into the sales end of the industry as National's commercial project sales position.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the HVACR industry, Nate brings a well-rounded understanding of both the technical and business sides of the trade. He began his career working on residential change-outs and new construction projects before advancing into commercial installations, leading large plan-and-spec jobs including hotels, auto dealerships, and commercial tenant fit-outs. Throughout Nate’s career, he supported service and installation of refrigeration systems, including walk-in boxes, expanding his expertise across multiple HVACR applications. In recent years, Nate transitioned into residential commercial sales, where he leveraged his hands-on field experience to provide practical, efficient, and cost-effective solutions for clients. His technical background allows him to understand project challenges from the ground up and deliver recommendations that align with both operational needs and budget goals. Nate is passionate about building long-term relationships, delivering value-driven solutions, and helping customers make informed decisions with confidence.

Travis grew up in Frederick, MD and graduated from Frederick Community College with an AA Degree. Shortly after he attended Salisbury University studying in Secondary Education. After two internship semesters Travis discovered a teaching career was not his destiny. After moving to Florida, Travis met his future wife while he worked in his first position in the trades at Hobart Service (Commercial Kitchen Manufacturer & Service Provider) as a Dispatcher. After 2-1/2 years he was offered a promotion moving to Hobart’s largest office in Baltimore, MD supporting multiple administrative roles, Dispatch, Parts Dept. AP, AR, etc. In 2017, Travis transitioned into the Commercial Boiler/Mechanical Industry in a Dispatch role and subsequently moved to an account manager position. This provided a valuable opportunity to learn and grow his knowledge of commercial boilers, compressors, filtration, pumps, and the HVAC industry. Travis has a bachelor’s degree in business & human resource management. Travis lives in Delmar with his wife and is the proud father of two young children. In his spare time, he enjoys watching the NBA and the NFL and also skateboarding events. Travis joined the National HVAC Service team as an account Manager in late 2024, where he takes great pride in offering unparalleled customer service to Nationals diverse profile of customers. Because of Travis' attention to detail and pride in customer service, he has moved into the Maintenance Sales Represenative role,

Jerry started in the electrical trade in 1977, after electrical training from Wicomico Senior High Vocational School, and Wor Wic Tech community college. He worked as a helper and then a service electrician, at Jerry’s Electrical Service until 1985 at which time he received his Master electrical license and then continued as the owner of Jerry’s Electrical Service. In 1999 Jerry’s company was purchase by National HVAC Service, and Jerry came aboard as the electrical supervisor, and license holder. Jerry has been with National HVAC Service for over 22 years. Being the electrical license holder for the company, he stays up to date on NEC changes, and participates continuing education classes to maintain a current license in all the Delmarva counties. Jerry is extremely proud of his 44 years of serving the communities of the Delmarva!  “Our team can deliver quality residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical service, to the entire peninsula, 24 hours a day.”

Danny began his HVAC career in 1986. He joined the Comfort Service team in 1994 during the time when the company was transitioning to National HVAC Service. During his long career in the HVAC industry, Danny has attended many industry training sessions, and has gained experience and expertise on all types of systems used in the residential and the light commercial segments of the industry.  As the residential service supervisor, Danny now conducts many training sessions for the technicians on the residential service team, passing along his knowledge to the next generation of National techs. Danny enjoys working with and assisting the junior techs in their growth through knowledge and abilities in their trade.
